My Collector Leigh gave me the most beautiful book, Signs: The Secret Language of the Universe. It was written by Laura Lynne Jackson. I am a big believer in signs from the others side, and the author, a renowned psychic medium and NY Times Best Selling Author, shares that connection to our loved ones who have passed is an ability that is available to all of us. She illustrates this through stories of her many clients and people she has met and known along the way.

As a true believer and someone who has experienced this onnection first-hand, as well as an artist who relies heavily on my intuition to guide my process, this book is a gem.

LISTENING

I fell in love with Kris in high school and it had nothing to do with A Star Is Born. I just loved his music and his energy. So much so that my sister Gloria gave me tickets to see him for graduation. Not to boast, be we were basically front row at The Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom, gazing up and perhaps swooning. That sealed the deal.

When Kris passed away last year, I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard more sincere, heartfelt rememberances by so many broken hearted people. Weeks later, many of his fellow musicians were still sharing about what a special and incredible musician and, more importantly, human Kris was.

Silver Tongued Devil (saved to my spotify playlist) is an early classic, before Kris wrote, and Janis recorded, Me + Bobby McGee.
